On August 25, Zach Bryan released his new self-titled album. He worked together with The Lumineers frontman Wesley Schultz to create this album. “Zach Bryan” has thrilled NC students along with others across the nation.

“I love the new album. Most of the songs are on my playlist I listen to. I was very excited to hear he was dropping a new album and even more excited when hearing it,” sophomore Savannah Washam said.

Bryan’s album has 16 songs, including a poem titled “Fears and Fridays.” Bryan revives poetry throughout this album, which was announced top 50 on Spotify.

“My favorite song is Summertime’s Close because I like the guitar and the world about a special person, this song really applies to me,” Washam said.

More people across the world are becoming fans of Bryan. He is growing and becoming more popular. Old fans and new fans were ecstatic when hearing the new songs released. “I Remember Everything” debuted at number 1 on Hot 100.

Washam plans to attend “The Quittin Time Tour” to hear this new album in person.

“I think his new album is great, but it’s not as good as his old album and it’s more rock than country,” sophomore Lillian Tabor said. Tabor attended Bryan’s tour last summer at TCU White River Amphitheatre

“American Heartbreak,” Bryans old album released in 2022, included 36 songs. “Zach Bryan” includes 16 songs with new features that have not been included in the past.

“My favorite song is ‘Spotless’ because I am a big fan of The Lumineers,” Tabor said.

Bryan was always a fan of The Lumineers, who inspired him to grow as an artist. The collaboration was a highlight of his album.

Fans were on the Ticketmaster site on September 6 waiting for tickets. Fans across the nation are upset because they could not get tickets.
