The MIC conference wrestling tournament was moved from Saturday Jan. 19 to Friday Jan. 18 after school due to weather conditions. The meet started at 5:30 and did not end until around midnight.
Jamichael Watts for weight class 285, Cameron Brown for 220 and Sebastian Bryant for 132 are all MIC conference champions.
Devontay Moore for weight class 182 and Bradley Harrington for 160 are both MIC conference runner ups.
As a team, NC placed third at the tournament. Sectionals for the wrestling team is Jan. 26 at Lawrence Central, Feb. 2 is regionals at Pendleton Heights, Feb. 9 is semi-state at New Castle and state is held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Feb 16.
