The new Avatar movie released on December 16, 2022 was a movie to see. The scenery, graphics and watching in 3D made the movie seem to come to life in the theater.

Almost two decades after the military invasion on Pandora, a group of marines is transformed into Avatar bodies with a mission to hunt down Jake Sully, the main character in the first Avatar.

The scenery and angles really make the movie. It gives viewers a good idea of the wildlife and nature that they are surrounded by. The intense action involving chasing, explosions, hand-to-hand combat and gunfights makes the movie fast-paced. Emotional parts shape viewers’ opinions on different characters.

My opinion is that this movie is a good sequel to the first one, but not as good. The action is decent but it didn’t really feel like a character was really in danger for me, or the fight was life-threatening. The emotional parts were really good, especially with Jake’s son, Lo’ak, and the feeling like an outcast. The setting and scenery is beautiful. The sights and sounds are astonishing to viewers.
