Recruitment Changes with COVID

Junior girls basketball player Destinee Hooks:
1) Q:What’s been your favorite aspect of the recruiting process?
A: Meeting all the different coaches and seeing what makes them different from the others and their staffs.
2) Q:What’s been your least favorite part of the recruiting process?
A:My least favorite part is that it’s very hard for me to go on visits because COVID is still here and I want to be able to see the places that are recruiting me.
3 )Q: Who do you rely on most for advice in the recruiting process?
A: Rely on my friends who are committed and my coaches for guidance.
4) Q:Do you have aspirations to continue your athletic career after college?
A:Yes I do. Playing pro would be awesome.
Senior football player David Smith:
1) What’s been your favorite aspect of the recruiting process?
A: New coaches hitting me up and having the opportunity to build those relationships.
2) Q: What has been your least favorite part of the recruiting process?
A: Not yet receiving interest from the big power 5 schools.
3) Q: Who do you rely on most for advice in the recruiting process?
A: My friends, family, and coaches, but mostly my older brother, Isaiah.
4) Q: Do you have aspirations to continue your athletic career after college?
A: I would love to have the opportunity to make it to the big leagues.
