Softball Preview



North Central High School Softball is looking to improve from there 11-17 record from last year. with the help of two returning starters, seniors Alexis Robinson and Morgan Turner.
The team has a positive outlook for the 2018 season, Senior Alexis Robinson talks about meeting team goals, and people becoming better individually.

Robinson talked about their aspirations for this season, “For this season, my hopes are to reach team goals we’ve set, grow as a team, to get bigger and better as an individual, and to beat Carmel,” Robinson said.

Senior Morgan Turner goes on and talks how she wants the team to become closer together and make something special in the near future. “Everyone wants to have a winning season, that’s for sure. Our program like most at NC have a tendency to generate cliques, so honestly I want us to bind together and become a family.” Turner said. “We have the talent no doubt. It’s just that coming together part. We have an older team this year so if we can set a good example for younger girls they can truly change our softball program into something killer.”

The softball team will face tough competition with conference teams Carmel, Center Grove, and Lawrence North and other teams in Hamilton County.
