Freshman Christopher Arnold has gone through a significant body transformation over the past few years. In middle school he was 4 foot 9 inches and 95 pounds, and he now is 5 foot 3 inches and 115 pounds of pure muscle.
Arnold told us he used to be very skinny, and decided that he wanted to gain some muscle.
“I thought it would be cool to be buff, as well as have a better body that would help my confidence,” Arnold said.
Arnold has a small gym in his house, where he goes to workout. He follows a workout routine that he created. Arnold features bicep curls, pushups, running, calf raises, squats, jumping rope, back tucks, round offs, russian twists, leg raises and pull ups in his workouts.
Arnold focuses on his nutrition, making sure to include three meals a day with lots of water and Powerade, maintaining a healthy diet on a daily basis.
“I have a really balanced diet, and I like to make sure I have every color on my plate,” Arnold said.
Arnold has learned how to do a backflip during his transformation. He began learning as he grew stronger and is now capable of doing a frontflip as well.
His Instagram username is motivational_chris.a. On social media, Arnold likes to motivate people to better themselves and become more healthy.
“I want to motivate people to workout for themselves so they can feel more confident”, Arnold said.
Arnold wants to be an example and hopes to be an inspiration for others who want to work hard.
