The senior bonfire is an annual event that has been a tradition at North Central since at least the 1990s. It is today at 9 p.m. after the last home football game. The game is against Lawrence Central and is senior night.
Senior Class Council coordinates the event. There will be a DJ, bonfire, s’mores, hot dogs and more.
The senior bonfire is a senior-only event, celebrating their last year here before they go their separate ways. It is the first of many exclusively senior events that will take place this year
Senior class president Bell Pastore believes the bonfire with be a positive, collective event for seniors.
“It’s an event that can bring everyone together in the senior class; a bonding experience in the beginning of the year that is something special for the seniors,” Pastore said.
Senior class council has coordinated several different aspects of the event and is hopeful for a large turnout.
