The first ever NC Olympics April 5, three faculty members will judge some of the events. Superintendent Dr. Nikki Woodson, athletic trainer Miho Sayles, and head football coach Kevin O’Shea.
Today we will feature O’Shea.
O’Shea has been the football head coach for two years. This year he led the panthers to a record of 9-3 and regionals. Before, he coached at Lafayette Central Catholic. O’Shea had a lot of pressure because the football team had won few games in the years before O’Shea’s arrival.
O’Shea along with the other judges will be determining the best performance in activities like the dance-off and the puzzle. They will also determine the winner of the three-point and free-throw shooting contest.
