The French Honor Society sold cookies this week in the cafeteria. The cookies were 50 cents each, and the proceeds went to helping Haiti rebuild after Hurricane Matthew ripped through Haiti on October 4, 2016, causing nearly 500 deaths. The nation is still struggling to recover and the French Honor Society is making an effort to send financial help. Student council is also running a similar fundraiser to aid Puerto Rico by selling shirts for $10 in the annex bookstore. They will also be selling stickers on Friday for one dollar as part of spirit week. A sticker allows students to wear a hat during the school day. Aid these fundraisers as they try to support these countries that have been struck by tragedy.
