Zoology club allows students to see animals. The animals are typically provided by the science department.

Zoology club is a new club that was started by juniors that were in zoology last year. Their first meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 11 after school in room N707.

Sherri Jackson is a co-sponsor of the club and helps Lynn Schopp lead the club.

“As a club we will go to the zoo and feed the animals, we will also watch movies and make bird feeders,” Schopp said.

The club will allow kids who don’t have access to animals see a variety of different species in different environments.

Sherri Jackson and Lynn Schopp expect to see 15 people at every meeting as the animals attract students. For any potential members, Jackson has a message for you, “If you love animals and you are interested in learning about them, then please come and check the club out,” Jackson said.
