Holding cell overload

Holding+cell+overload

Over the past two days, the holding room has been experiencing overflow in the early periods of the day. On Tuesday, 77 students were late to first period and forced to report to the holding room, followed by another 65 students today.
“This room is at capacity when we get to about 16 students,” holding room supervisor Eugene Lee said.
This has caused massive overflow into other holding locations including the attendance office, dean’s office, and room number L249.
The inclimate weather has apparently been a major factor in the recent plethora of tardies at the beginning of the day.
“We really get an abundance of overflow when there is snow and ice,” Lee said. “When you don’t make it on time, regardless of whether there’s car trouble or ice on the road, according to the handbook it is still unexcused.” -Harry Ochs, Liam Thompson
